Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department



    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.



    • DUI — John R. Ferguson, 22, 1204 Bonner Road, Sandersville.

    • Possession of marijuana — Ronnie L. Jenkins, 30, 369 Jeffery Acres Road, Meridian.

    • Failure to pay child support — Dewain Y. Jennings, 37, 1304 37th Ave., Meridian.

    • Trespassing — Monica D. Knight, 40, 562 County Road 1471, Quitman.

    • Failure to appear in justice court — Casandra L. Scott, 21, 3040 Rob Sims Road, Meridian.

    • Disturbance — Lynda H. Williams, 62, 629 CR 3565, China Springs, Texas.



    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.



    Assault

    Suspicious vehicle

    • Meehan Savoy Road, Meridian.

    Theft

    Burglary

    • 9100 block Highway 19 N., Meridian.

    Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.



Marion Police Department



    The Marion Police Department reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.



Fire Runs



    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

    • Vehicle accident, Highway 39 N.

    • Lock-in, Highway 19 N.

    • Vehicle accident, College Drive

    • Brush fire, 20th Street
