    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.



    • Domestic violence — Derrick R. Dawson, 23, 2005 42nd Ave., Meridian.

    • Public drunk — Reondricus D. Rogers, 22, 5340 16th Ave., Meridian.

    • Disorderly conduct — Jeffery M. Sims, 33, 504 County Road 514, Meridian.

    • Disorderly conduct — Earl Smith Jr., 27, 422 41st Ave., Meridian.

    

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.



    Shoplifting

    • 2400 block Sixth St.

        

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department



    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.



    • Simple assault — George D. Boyd Jr., 32, 9327 Lauderdale Kewanee Road, Lauderdale.

    • Possession of cocaine — Derrick L. Haywood, 30, 5254 County Road 12, Faunsdale, Ala.

    • Failure to appear in justice court — Marie S. Howard, 29, 2116 15th Ave., Meridian.



    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.



    DUI

    • Dale Drive, Meridian.

    Theft

    • 10000 Whippoorwill Road, Meridian.

    • 10600 Highway 80 W., Meridian.

    Burglary

    • 9600 block Extension Road, Lauderdale.

 

Mississippi Highway Patrol



    Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.



Marion Police     Department



    The Marion Police Department reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.



Fire Runs



    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.    



    • False alarm, 41st Avenue

    • Vehicle accident, 19th Street

    • Vehicle accident, Highway 39 By-pass.    

      

    The Lauderdale County Volunteer Fire Departments reported the following emergency runs.

    • Traffic accident, Highway 493 (Bailey)
