    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.

    • Disturbance — Joel A. Jacobs, 23, 4390 Old Highway 19 SE., Meridian.

    • Attempted aggravated assault — Joey Jenkins, 53, 374 Jeffrey Acres Road, Meridian.

    • Trespassing — Xavier A. Rickette, 19, 271 Broadwood Blvd., Meridian.

    • Disturbance — Clayton L. Smith, 19, 4892 S. L. Wilson Road, Meridian.

    • Possession of controlled substance — Kevin W. Smith, 34, 7960 Pine Springs Road, Meridian.

    • Possession of marijuana — Arron J. Tell, 23, 7648 Lauderdale Toomsuba Road, Meridian.
