MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department



    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.



    • Failure to appear in justice court — Kirstal Brown, 28, 806 64th Ave., Meridian.

    • Begging — Jason P. Clark, 39, 65 Whorton Drive, Jackson, Ala.

    • Trespassing — Johnny Hill, 41, 4335 Old Rock Road, Porterville.

    • Shoplifting — Marshall H. Moore, 42, 1903 Ninth Ave., Meridian.

    • Shoplifting — Bertha M. Rushing, 50, 5204 Lakewood Drive, Meridian.

    • Simple assault — Demarkus L. Walker, 21, 3713 15th St., Meridian.

    • Fighting — Donald W. White, 45, 3305 Old Marion Road, Meridian.

    

    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.



    Auto burglary

    • 2300 block 14th Avenue

        

Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department

    

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.



    • Telephone harassment — William J. Bennett, 33, 2339 Pleasant Ridge Road, Chunky.

    • Failure to appear in justice court — Jimmy D. Kugler, 36, 9136 Acker Drive, Lauderdale.

    • Forgery — Candie L. Temple, 32, 4021 36th St., Meridian.

    • Failure to pay child support — Allexstion M. Wilson, 38, 3707 Paulding Road, Meridian.



    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.



    Theft

    • 13200 block Highway 494, Meridian.

 

Mississippi   Highway Patrol



    Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.



Marion Police Department



    The Marion Police Department reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.



Fire Runs



    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.



    • Gas leak, 25th Avenue

    • False call, 34th Street

    • Gasoline spill, Ninth Street

    • Outside rubbish fire, 25th Avenue  

      

    The Lauderdale County Volunteer Fire Departments reported the following emergency runs.

    

Ambulance Runs



    Metro Ambulance reported 34 emergency runs between 3 p.m. Tuesday and 3 p.m. Wednesday.
