MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department



    The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.



    • Disturbance — Jamichael Alford, 18, 1502 45th Ave., Meridian.

    • Possession of marijuana — Namon R. Cooley, 21, 598 Ponta St., Marion.

    • Domestic violence — Kamondre D. Franklin, 19, 810 16th St., Meridian.



    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.



    Auto burglary

    • 5000 block Highway 39 North

    • 4900 block Shumate Road

    • 3500 block 34th Street

    • 1700 block Highway 19 North

    Theft

    • 2300 block 2nd Avenue

    • 2400 block North Hills Street

    • 200 block MLK Drive

    • 4800 block 8th Street

    • 2400 block 6th Street

    Burglary

    • 1300 block 45th Avenue



Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department



    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.



    • Felony bad check — James M. Covington, 56, 2704 Valley Road, Meridian.

    • DUI — Joshua L. Jones, 22, 11620 Hwy. 482, Philadelphia.

    • DUI — Keoshya S. Logan, 29, 1506 28th Ave., Meridian.

    • Failure to pay Justice Court — Bilal H. Love, 31, 2426 36th Place, Meridian.

    • Possession of alcoholic beverages by person under 21 — Kristen D. Mathis, 19, 727 Myrtle Drive, Meridian.

    • Failure to pay child support — Charles R. McClelland, 48, 4855 McDade Road, Meridian.

    • Failure to pay Justice Court — Cedrick S. McNeal, 28, 3303 5th St., Meridian.

    • Failure to pay Justice Court — Vincent E. Wright, 45, 114 24th Place, Meridian.



    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following incidents from 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.



    Burglary

    • 6600 block Poplar Springs Drive, Meridian.

    • 5500 block Water Valley Road, Meridian.

    Theft

    • 6200 block St. Louis Street, Meridian.

    DUI

    • Lockhart Trailer Court Road, Meridian.

    • 8th Street / 26th Avenue, Meridian.

    

Mississippi Highway Patrol



    Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop H reported no arrests between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.



Marion Police   Department



    The Marion Police Department reported the following arrests between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.



    • Disorderly conduct — James W. Sanders, 19, 513 Country Club Drive, Marion.



Fire Runs



    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following emergency runs between 8 a.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. Friday.  

     

    • Vehicle accident, 9th Street

    • Vehicle/pedestrian accident, Highway 19 North

    • Building fire, Highland Avenue

    • Vehicle accident, North Hills Street  

    

Ambulance Runs
