MERIDIAN — Meridian Police Department



    The Meridian Police Department reported the following non-traffic violations between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.



    • Disturbing the peace — Matthew Eades, 68, 3607 N. Highland, Meridian.

    • Domestic violence — Virginia L. Wright, 25, Regency Apts., Meridian.

    • Shoplifting — Gary P. Boutwell, 55, 5611 Fred Haugewood Rd., Meridian.

    • Domestic violence — Ralpheal D. Wilson, 23, 2524 26th St., Meridian.

    • Simple assault — Edgar L. Pratt, 56, 10012 Hillview Dr., Meridian.

    • Simple assault — Terry Pratt, 30, 9948 Hillview Dr., Meridian.

    • Credit card fraud — Gerri N. Norman, 20, 2521 26th St., Meridian.



    The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents between 9 a.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. Wednesday.



    Auto theft

    • 5500 block N. Frontage Rd.

    Burglary

    • 900 block Hwy. 19 North.

    • 3400 block 11th St.

    • 2300 block 10th Ave.

    Theft

    • 4600 block 8th St.

    • 2100 block 32nd Ave.

    • 4100 block Country Club Dr.



    Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department



    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following non-traffic violations between 9 a.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. Wednesday.



    • Probation violation — Tomeka L. Brown, 29, 3126 Old Rock Rd., Porterville.



    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following

incidents between 9 a.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. Wednesday.



    DUI

    • 8th St./24th Ave., Meridian.

   

Fire runs



    The Meridian Fire Department reported the following runs between 8 a.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday.



    • 39th Avenue, electrical problem

    • 14th Street, vehicle accident

    • Hwy. 80 West, steam or dust thought to be smoke

    • 38th Court, EMS call     



       The Lauderdale County Volunteer Fire Departments reported the following emergency runs.



    • Assist other agency, Mayatt Rd. (Martin)

    • Traffic accident, I-20 MM 160 (Russell)

    • EMS, Lizelia Rd. (Northeast)

    • EMS, Causeyville Rd. (Vimville)

    • Hwy. 19 S. (Vimville)

   

Ambulance runs



    Metro Ambulance reported 33 runs from 4 p.m. Tuesday through 4 p.m. Wednesday.

Meridian Police Department



    The Meridian Police Department reported the following non-traffic violations between 8 a.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.



    • Domestic violence — Maureo S. Carter, 30, 3843 36th St., Meridian.

    • Disorderly conduct — Michael D. Zeitel, 35, 205 Addison Dr., Fatettville, GA.

    • Possession of stolen firearm — Willie Lyons, 20, 722 Velma Moore Rd., Lawrence.

    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following non-traffic violations between 9 a.m. Monday and 9 a.m. Tuesday.



    • Possession of marijuana — Maria H. Thompson, 30, 1534 48th Ave., Meridian.



    The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department reported the following

incidents between 9 a.m. Monday and 9 a.m. Tuesday.



    Burglary

    • 6960 S. Anderson, Meridian.

    Vandalism

    • 9717 Extension Rd., Lauderdale.
