SUNDAY



• Prospect Presbyterian Church will have their homecoming services on Oct. 12 at 11 a.m. Lunch will be provided at the pavilion immediately following. 7876 Poplar Springs Dr.

• MARION – First Baptist Church will host a Focus on the Family video seminar entitled, “Essential Of Discipline” on Oct. 12, 5 p.m.-7 p.m., and then Oct. 15, 6 p.m.-8 p.m. (601) 485-9503 for more info.

• Glad Tidings Church will have their homecoming services on Oct. 12 at 10 am. They will also have revival services Oct. 13-15 at 7 pm nightly.



MONDAY



• On Oct. 13, Church of the Mediator will open up their pumpkin patch. The patch will be open weekdays from 10 a.m.-6 p.m., and on Sundays from 2 p.m.-5 p.m. For a small fee, pre-school classes may schedule a time to hear a story, and receive a small pumpkin to take home. • LAWRENCE - White Stone Baptist Church will have their 13th annual Marriage, Singles, & Family Conference on Oct. 17, 18, & 19. 5 p.m. On the 18th, 8 a.m. On 19th at 8 a.m. Call: (601) 683-7082 for more info.

• CARTHAGE – Pine Grove Church of God will have their homecoming services on Oct. 19 at 10:30 a.m. 93 Adams Rd.

• NEWTON – The Mike Speck Trio will be in concert at First Baptist Church on Oct. 19 at 6 p.m. No cost, but a love offering will be taken.

• DECATUR – Murray Chapel Church of God In Christ will have their 40th year appreciation service for Pastor George Murray on Oct. 26 at 1 p.m.
