Riley Hospital recently named its Employees of the Year for 2009.
Jennifer Gardner of Nutritional Services has been named Contract Employee of the Year. Jennifer is the Assistant Food Service Director at Riley Hospital. She has a wonderful attitude and is always willing to help. Jennifer jumps at the chance to take charge of events and implement a plan to accomplish the task ahead. She is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that the job is done to perfection. We are so lucky to have employees like Jennifer. She is greatly adored by her co-workers and customers.
Dennis McDill is a Vascular Interventional Tech in the Radiology Department and has been named the Employee of the Year. Dennis has been employed at Riley since February of 2001. Dennis does an outstanding job with a very positive attitude. He works well with everyone including his co-workers, physicians, administration and most of all patients. Dennis is a team player and respected for his work habits. He is always remembered for his kindness and professionalism by his patients. Thank you Dennis for all that you do.
Kay Wilson is a RN in OB and is named Nurse Excellence of the Year. Kay has been employed at Riley since October of 2000. Kay always goes above and beyond her duties as a nurse. She treats her patients as if they were her own family. On return visits patients often ask for her by name. Her caring attitude shows in her willingness to help others and her compassion for her patients. Kay sets the example to always be the best person you can be. She is one of the best!
David Howell, Director of Radiology is named Department Manager of the Year. David has been employed at Riley since December of 1996. He is very hardworking and has been very instrumental in equipment upgrades for his department, wanting only the best and most cutting edge equipment for his patients. He is well respected by his employees and peers. David is an outstanding example of a true leader and a forward thinker.
