MERIDIAN —
Mr. and Mrs. John M. Summers announce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth Gae, to Mr. Rhett Buckley Gore, son of Dr. and Mrs. Edward Buckley Gore of Tupelo.
The wedding will be Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012, at 5:30 p.m., at McKendree United Methodist Church in Nashville, Tenn.
Miss Summers is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Haight of San Antonio, Texas, and Mr. E. T. Summers Jr. and the late Mrs. Lou Cretia Morris Summers of Cuero, Texas.
The bride-elect is a 2008 graduate of the University of Alabama, where she was a member of Chi Omega sorority.
Mr. Gore is the grandson of Mrs. Mabel Buckley Crawford and the late Mr. Robert Lee Crawford, and the late Dr. and Mrs. Thomas M. Gore of Houston.
The bridegroom-elect is a 2007 graduate of Delta State University.
A reception will be held at The Hermitage Hotel in Nashville, at 7 p.m., following the ceremony.
