Jerry and Cindy Cleveland of Union announce the engagement of their daughter, Clancy Lessine, to Dustin Cole Hamrick, son of Tommy and Martha Hamrick of Quitman.
The wedding will be held Saturday, June 27, 2009, at 4 p.m. at County Line Baptist Church in Union.
Miss Cleveland is the granddaughter of Gene and Lessine Rice of Union and Wilma Cleveland and the late A.T. Cleveland of Forest.
The bride-elect is a 2008 graduate of Mississippi State University with a bachelor’s degree in secondary mathematics education, a 2006 graduate of East Central Community College and a 2004 graduate of Union High School. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in mathematics education.
Miss Cleveland will teach high school mathematics at Union High School in the fall.
Mr. Hamrick is the grandson of Ray and Jane Thead of Quitman and Gloria Hamrick and the late Jack Hamrick of Stonewall.
The bridegroom-elect received a master’s degree in physical education from Mississippi State University in 2009. He is a 2007 graduate of Mississippi State University with a bachelor’s degree in secondary mathematics education, a 2005 graduate of Meridian Community College and a 2003 graduate of Quitman High School.
Mr. Hamrick is currently employed as a high school mathematics teacher at Union High School, where he is also assistant baseball coach.
A reception will be held at the church following the ceremony.
Family and friends are invited to attend.
