Kennedy, Robinson





After falling in love in sixth grade more than 10 years ago, Loren Michelle Kennedy and Jordan Lee Robinson, both of Union, will exchange vows and be united in holy matrimony.

The couple will marry on Saturday, June 13, 2009, at 4 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Union.

Parents of the couple are Eric and Tammara Kennedy and David and Sonya Robinson, al of Union.

Miss Kennedy is the granddaughter of Vanessa and Benny Duett of Meridian, Otha and Nelda Kennedy of Union and Jerry and Donna Thompson of Marion. She is the great-granddaughter of Lester Thompson and the late Mildred Thompson of Meridian.

The bride-elect received a bachelor of science degree from Mississippi College in May 2009. She is a graduate of East Central Community College and Union High School.

Miss Kennedy will begin dental school in August at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. Mr. Robinson is the grandson of Jimmy and Ann Rash of Union and Earl and Joyce Robinson of Collinsville.

The bridegroom-elect received his associate's degree in electrical technology from East Central Community College. He is a graduate of Union High School.

Mr. Robinson is employed by Dynamic Services in Ridgeland.

A reception will immediately follow at First Baptist Church Family Life Center.

Friends and family are invited to attend.
