Roberts, Barnacastle





Lee C. Roberts Jr. and Denita Roberts of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Casey, to Jeremy Curtis Barnacastle, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey C. Barnacastle of Toomsuba.

The wedding will be hed Saturday, June 6, 2009, at 6 p.m. at Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church.

Miss Roberts is the granddaughter of Nell Nobles and the late M.K. Nobles of Meridian and Patty Roberts and the late Lee C. Roberts Sr. of Meridian.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Clarkdale High School and attended Meridian Community College. She will attend the University of Southern Mississippi in the fall.

While attending MCC, she was a member of Phi Theta Kappa and performed with the vocal ensemble the “Dimensions.”

Miss Roberts is employed by Meridian Medical Associates.

Mr. Barnacastle is the grandson of Dorothy Bucklew and the late Tommy Bucklew, Mr. and Mrs. Houston Shelton and Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Barnacastle, all of Toomsuba.

The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Northeast High School. He attended Meridian Community College.

While attending MCC, he was a member of the MCC baseball team.

Mr. Barnacastle is employed by Meridian Fire Department.

A reception will be held at Briarwood Country Club.

Family and friends are invited to attend.
