Dr. and Mrs. John Stephen Harris of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth K., to Clint Allan Livingston, son of the Rev. and Mrs. Larry Ellis Livingston of Holcomb.
The wedding will be held Saturday, June 27, 2009, at 6:30 p.m. at The Grand Hotel in Point Clear, Ala.
Miss Harris is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Charles Wasley of Windsor, N.Y., the late Dr. Charles Preston Harris of Memphis, Tenn., and the late Helen Reidling Harris of Memphis.
The bride-elect received a doctorate of pharmacy degree in May 2009 from the University of Mississippi. She also received a bachelor of science degree in nutrition in 2004 from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. She is a graduate of Lamar High School.
While attending Ole Miss, she was a member of Kappa Epsilon, the American Pharmacists Association, the Mississippi Society of Health Systems and Rho Chi. While at the University of Tennessee, she was a member of Chi Omega fraternity.
Mr. Livingston is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Dean Lindley, and Estelle McCain Livingston and the late Edward Livingston of Holcomb.
The bridegroom-elect received a doctorate of pharmacy degree in May 2009 from the University of Mississippi and a bachelor of science degree in microbiology in 2004 from Mississippi State University. He is a graduate of Grenada High School.
While at Ole Miss, he was a member of Kappa Psi, American Pharmacists Association and Phi Lamboa Sigma.
A reception will he held at The Grand Hotel.
