Wall, Puckett

Mr. and Mrs. Jim Wall of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Gina Elizabeth, to Daniel Staten Puckett, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Puckett of Philadelphia.

The wedding will be held Saturday, May 23, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Central United Methodist Church.

Miss Wall is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. R.B. Baylis and the late Blanche Baylis, Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Taylor and the late James Wall Sr., all of Meridian.

The bride-elect received a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in sociology from the University of Mississippi. She also received an associate of arts degree from East Central Community College, where she was captain of the cheerleading squad. She graduated with highest honors from West Lauderdale High School.

Miss Wall is employed by Manpower.

Mr. Puckett is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Rudolph of Philadelphia and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Puckett of Louisville.

The bridegroom-elect graduated from Meridian Community College with an associate of arts degree. He currently attends Mississippi State University, where he is pursuing a bachelor of arts degree in business administration. He graduated with honors from Philadelphia High School.

Mr. Puckett is employed by AT&T.;

A reception will be held at Central United Methodist Church.

Family and friends are invited to attend.
