MERIDIAN —
Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Wolverton of Union announce the engagement of their daughter, Krystle Elyse, to Ryan William Monk, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stacy Monk of Lake.
The wedding will be Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, at 6 p.m., at the home of Lance and Jana Hollingsworth in Lake.
Miss Wolverton is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Wolverton and Mrs. Dallas Rettberg and the late Harold Rettberg of Union.
The bride-elect earned a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Mississippi University for Women. She is an honors graduate of East Central Community College and Union High School.
Miss Wolverton is employed as a registered nurse at Baptist Hospital in Columbus.
Mr. Monk is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Monk, and Mrs. Miriam Pace and the late Rodger Pace.
The bridegroom-elect earned a bachelor of science degree in construction management from Mississippi State University. He is a graduate of Newton County High School.
Mr. Monk is currently employed by Pierce Construction of Union.
