MERIDIAN —
Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Odom of Collinsville and Mr. and Mrs. Randy Loper of Spanish Fort, Ala., announce the engagement of their daughter, Celeste Cran Loper, to Jonathan Kinard Miles, son of Mr. Rick Miles of Bailey and Mrs. Cathy Kinard Miles of Meridian.
The wedding will be Saturday, March 10, 2012, at Pierce Castle in Decatur.
Miss Loper is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. M.L. Loper of Waynesboro, Mrs. Rose Cran of Laurel and Mr. and Mrs. Billy Cran of Waynesboro.
The bride-elect currently attends Meridian Community College and is scheduled to graduate with an associate’s degree in nursing in May. She is a 2009 graduate of West Lauderdale High School.
At MCC, she is a member of Phi Theta Kappa, Organization of Student Nurses (OSN) and Mississippi Organization of Associate Degree Nursing/MOSA (MOADN/MOSA).
Miss Loper is employed by Rush Foundation Hospital in the cardiovascular recovery unit.
Mr. Miles is the grandson of Mr. Billy Kinard and the late Mrs. Beatrice Kinard, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Othell Miles.
The bridegroom-elect is a December 2011 graduate of the Mississippi State Fire Academy and a 2007 graduate of West Lauderdale High School. He attended Meridian Community College.
Mr. Miles is employed by the city of Meridian as a firefighter.
