MERIDIAN —
James and Judy Mawdy of Newton announce the engagement of their daughter, Leah, to Matt Harbour, son of David and Brenda Harbour of DeKalb.
The wedding will be Saturday, July 21, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Corinth Baptist Church.
Miss Mawdy is the granddaughter of Mozelle and the late Roger Yarbrough of Newton and Bertie Mae and the late H.M. Mowdy of Philadelphia.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Meridian Community College and Calvary Christian School.
While attending MCC, she was a member of Phi Theta Kappa.
Mr. Harbour is the grandson of Katie Harbour and the late Mid Lavell Harbour of DeKalb and Dale McKinney Parlier and the late Curtis Albert McKinney of Meridian.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Calvary Christian School.
Mr. Harbour is employed by Cintas of Tuscaloosa, Ala.
A reception will be held at the church.
Family and friends are invited to attend.
