Mr. and Mrs. Gary Daugherty of Clay, Ala., announce the engagement of their daughter, Kimberly Erin, to Jeffrey Stephen Brantley of Meridian, son of Steve and Tammy Brantley of Meridian.
The wedding will be held Saturday, Aug. 15, 2009, at 3 p.m. at Springville First United Methodist Church in Springville, Ala.
Miss Daugherty is the granddaughter of Frances Daugherty and the late Richard Daugherty of Clay, Ala. and Charles Morse of Roebuck, Ala. and Thelma Morse of Royal, Ala.
The bride-elect recently graduated from Mississippi State University with a degree in industrial engineering.
Mr. Brantley is the grandson of Corinne Brantley and the late Barnard Brantley of Philadelphia and Nell Watson and the late Roy Watson of Brandon.
The bridegroom-elect recently graduated from Mississippi State University with a degree in computer engineering.
Following the wedding, the couple will reside in Charlottesville, Va., where they will pursue graduate degrees from the University of Virginia.
