Jim and LouAnn Fox of LaGrange, Ohio, announce the engagement of their daughter, Natasha Marie, to John “Cody” Abrams, son of Jena Thompson Abrams of Meridian and John Abrams of Crawford.
The outdoor wedding is slated for Saturday, Aug. 8, 2009, at 12:30 p.m., on the greens of Elyria Country Club in Elyria, Ohio.
Miss Fox is the granddaughter of Mary and Harold Greathouse of Homerville, Ohio, and Margie and Jim Fox of Wellington, Ohio.
The bride-elect attended Career Training Institute of Orlando, Fla. She is a graduate of Keystone High School in LaGrange.
Miss Fox is employed by Magnolia Outpatient Rehabilitation in Starkville.
Mr. Abrams is the grandson of Thelma Thompson of Meridian and the late Hal Thompson of North Carolina and the late Johnnie and George Abrams of Macon.
The bridegroom-elect attended both Meridian Community College and Itawamba College on soccer scholarships. He is currently attending Mississippi State University and is scheduled to graduate May 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a minor in mathematics. He is a graduate of Northeast High School.
Mr. Abrams is employed by Lowe’s of Starkville and is a full-time student at Mississippi State University.
A reception will be held at Penfield Hall, Ohio, and another one in Meridian when the couple returns from their honeymoon.
Family and friends are invited to attend the Meridian reception.
