Holden, Linton

MERIDIAN —

    Nick and Stephanie Holden of Porterville announce the engagement of their daughter, Lydia Brooke, to Marcus Aaron Linton, son of Andy and Sue Linton of Meridian.

    The wedding will be Saturday, June 23, 2012, at 4 p.m., at Bethany Baptist Church in Whynot.

    Miss Holden is the granddaughter of the late Huey Cooper of Madisonville, La., Roy and Ilona Davis of Shreveport, La., Bubby Holden of Covington, La., and Marvin and Dianne Cooper of Meridian.

    The bride-elect received a degree in cosmetology from Meridian Community College. She is a graduate of Meridian Christian Home Educators.

    While attending MCC, she was a member of the Baptist Student Union.

    Miss Holden is employed by Silver Leaf Beauty Salon.

    Mr. Linton is the grandson of the late Lonnie and Josephine Smith of Meridian and the late Rufus and Marguerite Linton of Snell.

    The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Southeast Lauderdale High School. He attended Meridian Community College.

    While attending MCC, he was a member of the Baptist Student Union.

    Mr. Linton is employed by Bethany Baptist Church.

    A reception will be held at Grand Oak Gospel Bluegrass Hall.
