MERIDIAN —
Bruce and Laura Young of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Elizabeth, to Jon Legner, son of Mark and Jill Legner of Pontiac, Ill.
The wedding will be Saturday, April 27, 2013, at 6 p.m., at the Chapel at Bonne Terre in Southaven.
Miss Young is the granddaughter of Bill and Martie Butler, and the late John and Virgie Young, all of Gulfport.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Mississippi State University, where she received a master of accountancy degree. She is also a graduate of Northeast Lauderdale High School.
Mr. Legner is the grandson of the late Hank and Marjorie Legner, and Wayne and the late Joan Ehrhardt, all of Pontiac, Ill.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Mississippi State University, where he received a master of accountancy degree. He is also a graduate of Pontiac Township High School.
A reception will be held at Ashley Hall at Bonne Terre.
Formal invitations will be sent to out-of-town guests only.
