MERIDIAN —
Billy and Debbie Myers of DeKalb announce the engagement of their daughter, Libby Jean Myers to Wade Tyler Whitaker, son of Dale and Niki Whitaker of Thayer, Mo.
The wedding will be Saturday, Jan. 19, 2012, at 3 p.m., at Big Oak United Methodist Church, located in the Damascus Community of Kemper County.
Miss Myers is the granddaughter of Jack and Betty McKee of DeKalb, and the late Willie and Frances Myers of Lake.
Mr. Whitaker is the grandson of W.G. and Dorothy Barbee of Thayer, Mo., Dale and Lois Miller of Olpe, Kan., and the late Byron Whitaker of Olpe, Kan.
A reception will immediately follow the ceremony at the home of Robert and Joy Watson of DeKalb, uncle and aunt of the bride.
All family and friends are invited to attend.
