MERIDIAN —
Randy Linton and Peggy Netherland of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Chelsea Linton, to Kevin Davis, son of Tommy and Barbara Davis of Meridian.
The wedding will be Saturday, Dec. 10, 2011, at 3 p.m., at Oak Grove Baptist Church.
Miss Linton is the granddaughter of Burley and Shelby Linton and Jackie and Libby Robinson, all of Meridian.
The bride-elect received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Mississippi State University-Meridian. She is a graduate of Clarkdale Attendance Center.
While attending MSU, she was a member of Kappa Delta Phi.
Mr. Davis is the grandson of Leonard and Peggy Mann and the late Thomas and Jean Davis, all of Meridian.
The bridegroom-elect attended Meridian Community College and received an industrial maintenance and construction certificate. He is a graduate of Southeast Lauderdale High School.
Mr. Davis is employed by Trustmark National Bank.
A reception will be held at the church.
Family and friends are invited to attend.
