Donna and Scott Kay Newell of Collinsville announce the engagement of their daughter, Brooke, to Justin Campbell, son of Toby and Lonna Campbell of Bailey.
The wedding will be held Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009, at 6 p.m., at Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church in Meridian.
Miss Newell is the granddaughter of Joyce Rainer and the late Donald Rainer of Collinsville and Harold Newell and the late Lynn Newell of Meridian.
The bride-elect received a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Mississippi University for Women and an associate’s degree in nursing from Meridian Community College. She is a graduate of West Lauderdale High School.
Miss Newell is currently employed as a registered nurse at Meridian Surgery Center.
Mr. Campbell is the grandson of the late Sara Lay of Pearl and Jackie Wallace and the late James Campbell of Jackson.
The bridegroom-elect attended Meridian Community College and Mississippi State University. He is a graduate of West Lauderdale High School.
Mr. Campbell is employed by Partridge Ornamental Iron in Meridian.
A reception will be held at Meridian Little Theatre following the ceremony.
Family and friends are invited to attend.
