MERIDIAN —
Scott and Jeanie Sanders of Daleville and Sidney and Candy Ashmore of Noxapater announce the engagement of their daughter, Anna Elizabeth Sanders, to Joshua Aaron Hollingshead, son of Grover and Kathy Hollingshead of Waynesboro.
The wedding will be Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, at 2 p.m., at Northpark Church of God in Meridian.
Miss Sanders is the granddaughter of Janice Bell, Reba Conn and the late Buddy Conn of Shuqualak, Carolyn Sanders and the late Walter Earl Sanders of DeKalb, and Dee and Virginia Haggard of Meridian.
The bride-elect is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, where she received a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She is also a graduate of Meridian Community College and Kemper Academy.
While attending USM, she was a member of Sigma Theta Tau and The Honors College. While attending MCC, she was a member of Phi Theta Kappa and Circle of Excellence.
Miss Sanders is employed by Rush Foundation Hospital.
Mr. Hollingshead is the grandson of Virgil and Dorothy Davis of Waynesboro, and Irma Jean Chapman and the late J.T. Chapman of Waynesboro.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Wayne County High School. He attended Antonelli College and Meridian Community College.
While attending Wayne County High School, he was a member of the Beta Club, DECA Club, and the tennis and baseball teams.
Mr. Hollingshead is employed by the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department.
A reception will be held at Briarwood Country Club in Meridian.
