    Here's a look at upcoming programs and events at Meridian's city, county, private and faith-based schools:    



     • Today – T.J. Harris Elementary School Valentine’s Dance, 5 p.m.-7 p.m., Harris Upper Gym

     • Thursday – Northwest Middle School Special Olympics Basketball Skills, Frank Cochran Center. Students will celebrate afterwards at Western Sizzlin.

     • Friday – Magnolia Middle School Valentine’s Dance, from 6 p.m.-8 p.m., gym

     • Friday – Tour of Northwest Middle School for West Hills fifth grade students, 1:30 p.m.

     • Feb. 19 – District Science Fair (grades 6-12), Starkville

    • Feb. 27 – East Central Community College: Black History Month Program, 7 p.m., Vickers Fine Arts Center auditorium on the Decatur campus.

    The Rev. Marcus Mann will serve as guest speaker. ECCC’s Gospel Choir will provide special music.
