MERIDIAN —
Do you know of someone who quietly goes about his or her day helping others with little or no recognition?
If so, now is your chance to help give that person the kudos he or she deserves.
The Meridian Star will feature Unsung Heroes in our Profile editions that will run in February and March. Unsung Heroes are chosen from nominations submitted by readers of The Meridian Star.
An Unsung Hero could be a deserving neighbor, a kind stranger or someone who works selflessly to make his or her community a better place. It could be someone who has made a difference in your life or in the lives of others.
Send us a typed letter or email nominating your Unsung Hero. It should be no more than a page long, double-spaced.
Tell us about the person and why he or she is an Unsung Hero. Include your telephone number so we can call you if we have questions about your submission.
Mail your nominations to Michael Stewart, The Meridian Star, P.O. Box 1591, Meridian, MS, 39302. Nominations can also be emailed to editor@themeridianstar.com.
