Mattie Gibson Jenkins
GILBERTOWN, Ala. — Services for Mattie Gibson Jenkins will be held today at 11 a.m. at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Lester Pope and Clovis Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Mosley Cemetery.
Mrs. Jenkins, 90, of Gilbertown, died Thursday, July 17, 2008, at Wayne County General Hospital in Waynesboro, Miss.
Survivors include her husband, the Rev. Edgar Jenkins; sons, Thomas Jenkins and Robert Jenkins; daughters, Shelby Wallace and Laveinia Carlisle; two sisters; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
