MERIDIAN —
The Rose Hill Cemetery Tour returns on Saturday, Sept. 29 in Meridian beginning at 6 p.m.
Enjoy 19 stops featuring profiles of some of the occupants there, dressed in costumes of the period.
The event is free to the public and suitable for all ages.
Hear the stories of the King & Queen of the Gypsies, Mrs. Hattie Wood Austin, Founder of the Meridian Little Theater, stories of the Meridian Railroad, the Grand Opera House, the Yellow Fever and Spanish Flu Epidemics, the Civil War, World War I, and more.
