(9 a.m.) Buffalo Wild Wings coming to Meridian

MERIDIAN — Meridian will have a Buffalo Wild Wings just in time for college football bowl season, according to an announcement today by company officials.

Lala Enterprises and PK Wings, a Laurel, Miss., based company, announced today that Buffalo Wild Wings — winner of scores of best wings and best sports bar awards — is opening its newest location in Meridian in December 2010, bringing its "mouth-watering wings to local residents" company officials said today.

The Meridian Buffalo Wild Wings will feature 7 big screens and 50 wall-to-wall HD TVs for event and sports viewing. 



“We are very excited to bring the Buffalo Wild Wings experience to Meridian and we look forward to becoming a part of this dynamic community,” said Amit Patel, President of PK Wings, Inc, the local franchisee group who will own and operate the restaurant as a joint venture with Lala Enterprises.





“The City of Meridian is thrilled to welcome Buffalo Wild Wings to our wonderful city,” said Mayor Cheri Barry.  “The restaurant’s opening is part of the city’s ongoing focus on attracting new restaurants and businesses to Meridian, creating new jobs, and increasing the city’s revenue base.”



The Meridian Buffalo Wild Wings will be located on Hwy 11 & 80, in front of Cracker Barrel.  The restaurant will begin accepting online applications for all management and hourly positions immediately at http://www.JoinTeamBWW.com.  The restaurant plans to hire over 100 employees prior to its grand opening.
