Jim and Mildred Scott celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on Saturday, March 14, 2009. The couple were married on March 14, 1939, in Meridian.The Scotts have six children, 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Mr. Scott is retired from Black Warrior Electric Membership Corporation.
