Mr. and Mrs. Ardell Covington celebrated their 65th anniversary on Thursday, July 24, 2008. On July 20th, the couple was honored at Stonewall Assembly of God Church. They were married in the church
parsonage by the Rev. T.N. Clark in 1943 and have been members at the church their entire married life. The Covingtons have two children, Gerald and his wife, Nancy, and Sandra Herrington and her husband, Stanley; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
