Jimmy and Janett Reece will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a reception hosted by their children today at Fifteenth Avenue Baptist Church. The couple will also celebrate with a Caribbean cruise later this year. The Reece's were married on Aug. 1, 1958, in Starks, La. They have four children, Sherry Bateman, Mike Reece, Susan Puckett and Peggy Argo; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
